I just got one of my Bank of America (BOA) short sale approved in less than 30 days! No kidding. The contract was ratified on 8/13/09 and approved on 9/10/09. While it may not be as impressive as Usain Bolt's 100m record, in the short sale world it is every bit impressive espcially given that it's BOA short sale.
That is incredible! You can't walk into the Krispy Kreme and tell just anyone that. They will not get it! I think there is just a small group of people who can truly appreciate such a feat. I just got a short sale approval today from Wells Fargo in 45 days on a short sale listing here in Las Vegas. Everyone involved was just as happy! Do you have any tips that may have put your package ahead of the rest. We send our short sale packages in neat and complete. I didn't even mean to make that rhyme. Any tips would be appreciated especially when it comes to dealing with Bank of America and Countrywide. Congrats!

WOW!!! impressive....I just had my buyers "walk" on an offer (March 20, 2009)that we still did not have Wells Fargo's response....I guess they figured 6 months was long enough....

Wow, nice to hear of such success. My last short sale took 7 weeks to get to a negotiator. You'd think the banks want to keep real estate instead of sell it!

That is impressive for a BofA short sale. What exactly did you do to speed up the process? I am curious because BofA are notorious for taking time to approve them. Hopefully they will improve
